Security Guards, also called Security Officers, patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and illegal activity. Security Officers will protect their employer’s investment, enforce laws on the property. You will operate radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from police, fire, or emergency medical services as the situation dictates. Security guards write comprehensive reports outlining their observations and activities during their assigned shift. You may also interview witnesses or victims, prepare case reports, and testify in court.

You will receave your benefit packages after the 90 day parol period.
If you haven't applied for your New York State Security Guard License, You will get one after the 90 day parol period.

Regarding the Security Positions Available.

All Security Officers MUST show good judgment and common sense, follow directions, testify accurately in court, and follow company policy and guidelines. In an emergency, You must be able to take charge and direct others to safety. In larger organizations, a security manager might oversee a group of security officers. In smaller organizations, however, a single worker may be solely responsible for all security.
