Make the Road New York (MRNY), a membership-led, community-based organization with offices in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island seeks a highly motivated, organized, dedicated DEPUTY DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZING with a minimum of five years relevant work experience. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess very strong public policy, supervision, and fundraising experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise multiple organizers and serve as the lead organizer for multiple organizing projects,
Assume the responsibilities of a Political Director,
Coordinate the activities of MRNY’s’s Fundraising Board,
Raise at least $750,000 annually,
Implement an initiative to improve revenue generated by member dues, and
Participate in the development of MRNY’s organizing methodology and infrastructure.
